Not only is it summer but its Christmas already too! It was a cool wet Spring and while we are getting the odd taste of warmth, it's far from what you'd normally expect at this time of the year.

Don't let warmer weather and the thought of summer put you off gardening this time of year. You can still garden, you can still plant and you can do it without plants dying. Water, mulch and do all the things you would normally to more established parts of your garden but add an extra watering during hot weather to newly planted plants and they should get through summer without a fuss.

Despite some windy wet weather Spring is well and truly here and it's such a great time of year to be in the garden. Gardens are continuing to spring into life and flowers and new growth are everywhere you look. The Chinese Wisteria in our carpark was exceptionally stunning this year but sadly it never lasts long enough and is done for another year.
